Engineers or Bachelors in Geodesy/Surveying, Geoinformatics, Geoinformation or Geodata Management for Office and Field Service (m/f/d)

The Office for Real Estate Cadastre and Geoinformation is responsible for collecting, maintaining and providing the basic geodata of the real estate register in the district area. As a service provider to the overall administration, the Office is also responsible for spatial tasks and the use of geographical information systems. Municipalities belonging to the district are supported in this area, as are various tourism organizations and special purpose associations (The Bergisches Land and the Bergisches Land Nature Park) with regard to tourist map products.

Tasks:

  • In the field:
    • Carrying out government cadastral surveys
    • Recording the topography for the official base map (ABK), among others
    • Carrying out engineering surveys
  • In the back office:
    • Involve in the implementation of legislative innovations and regulations
    • Participate in the organization and development of procedures to (quality) improve the real estate register and ABK
    • Audit activities in cadastral takeover and/or in the area of ABK continuation
    • Activities to take over property surveys
    • Citizen advice on cadastral issues

Your profile:

  • The basic requirement for filling positions is
    • a completed university degree (diploma (FH/TH) or bachelor) in one of the study programs
      • Surveying/geodesy
      • geoinformatics
      • Geoinformation
      • geodata management
    • or Qualification for career group 2, 1st entry office of the surveying service (formerly senior surveying administrative service).
  • You may be prepared to acquire the qualification for the high-level surveying administrative service in the Rheinisch-Bergische Kreis.
  • Professional experience in one or more of the above areas of responsibility is an advantage.
