Geo-sector career platform GoGeoGo starts with Philippe Lebert GmbH in Switzerland

BERLIN/ZURICH, Germany/Switzerland, December 01, 2023 - The geo-sector career platform GoGeoGo and the Swiss personnel consultancy Philippe Lebert GmbH have agreed on a strategic partnership for sales expansion in Switzerland. The cooperation between the Geo job board and the personnel consultant is intended to use long-term synergy effects for joint expansion in the DACH region.

The job board GoGeoGo was founded in Berlin in August 2023 and focuses on the geo-sectors (GIS/Geoinformatics, Environmental & Nature Conservation, Urban & Regional Planning, Renewable Energy, Geology, Remote Sensing, Hydrology, etc.) and is available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in German and English.

The Zurich HR Consultant Philippe Lebert GmbH has existed since 2018 and, with its focus on geoinformatics and IT, has developed a niche position in Switzerland.

“Today, we are not only venturing into Switzerland, but also expanding for the first time,” explains Tim Erdmann, one of the three founders and owners of GoGeoGo. The jump to Switzerland comes after just under four months on the market and, according to the founders, is a consistent conclusion from the growth rate to date.

“The cooperation not only underlines the importance of Switzerland as a location for the geoinformatics and surveying industry, among others, but also means a long-term and cross-roof expansion of our product portfolio,” says Philippe Lebert, commenting on the development of his consulting firm.

The geo-sectors are at the forefront of digitization, urban planning, climate change and the energy transition — and are therefore particularly affected by the shortage of skilled workers. GoGeoGo integrates the supply and demand of a fragmented and fragmented labor market on a central platform and thus serves a wide range of employers, from federal authorities to universities, regional utilities, planning offices to data-driven start-ups and medium-sized companies.
