Regional Planning Clerk
The district of Hameln-Pyrmont is looking for a regional planning clerk for its Economic Promotion/Regional Development/Public Transport and Climate Protection Office as soon as possible. Vacancies are filled indefinitely and full-time.
Your essential tasks
- Participation in the preparation and updating of the Regional Spatial Planning Programme (RROP), in particular working on the topics of open space and renewable energy
- Application of the technical principles, including ongoing changes in connection with the expansion of wind and solar energy and the corresponding topics in RROP
- Participation in carrying out spatial impact assessments and preparation of regional planning opinions on construction management procedures, sectoral planning and individual projects of spatial significance
- Preparation and evaluation of statistical data bases
Your competencies
- You have a degree in spatial planning, regional planning, geography or a comparable field of study
- You are able to communicate and cooperate
- You are confident in using common IT applications and, in particular, have application-ready knowledge of GIS and are willing to continue your education accordingly
Several years of experience in regional and state planning or a similar area are desirable.
Field work requires possession of a class B driving license. The willingness to provide the privately owned vehicle for official purposes is expected. Expenses incurred will be reimbursed under travel expenses law.

Working conditions are governed by the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD). The additional retirement provision is provided by the Federal and State Pension Institution (VBL). In total, a full position is available for filling. The position is suitable for part-time work if it can be ensured that an almost full filling is possible overall.
