We, Zwickauer Energieversorgung GmbH (ZEV), are a regional supply company with currently around
190 employees. We use a lot of energy every day to reliably supply our customers with electricity, natural gas and heat. We also provide energy-related services for various municipal utilities.

Your area of responsibility:

• System Responsibility and Support of the Geographical Information System (CAIGOS-GIS)
• Administration and strategic development/orientation of programs in the IT landscape and their interfaces in the technical area related to GIS (this includes data exchange with software for maintenance and repair, the import of meter data from SAP, data exchange with software for our connectivity processes and network calculation software)
• Technical Support for Our Mobile Computers
• close cooperation with the IT sector
• Planning and coordination of departmental projects in the area of data processing
• Collaboration with other tasks/projects in the area of surveying/documentation

Your qualifications:

• Completed training as a geomatics technician, surveyor, IT specialist or degree in geomatics, geoinformatics, surveying technology or computer science, e.g. as a graduate geographer or bachelor of science or similar.
• Relevant professional experience is desirable

You also bring this with you:

• profound IT skills, in particular practical experience with programs such as Geograf CAD,
  AutoCAD (CAD), GIS (CAIGOS), SQL servers (databases)
• Safe use in the Windows operating system and with office programs
• strong understanding of technical relationships
• careful, reliable and team-oriented work
• Quick Comprehension and Logical Thinking Skills
• Independent, structured and independent way of working
• customer-friendly appearance
• Car driving license
