Climate Protection Manager (m/f/d)

The position can only be filled if approved under the so-called municipal directive and is initially limited to 2 years. There is an option to extend the time limit.

Your area of responsibility:

1. Initiation and management of the implementation of the measures developed and adopted in the climate protection concept as well as involvement of all administrative departments
2. Coordination of all relevant actors within the administration, cooperation with external actors and contracted service providers, in particular for project and process support
3. Accompanying public relations, campaign work and organization and implementation of climate protection events
4. Implementation and implementation of climate protection controlling, including update of the energy and greenhouse gas balance sheet
5. Expansion and support of local and regional networks, participation in network meetings and events
6. Funding management and budget planning
7. Preparation of meeting proposals and reporting in political bodies
   

Your profile:

These qualifications are a must:

1. a successfully completed university degree in energy and resource management/renewable energies, climate protection or in one of the following courses of study: environmental sciences, environmental engineering, energy economics or comparable qualifications in the field of environmental technology, environmental protection, etc.
2. Profound knowledge in the areas of climate protection, climate adaptation, renewable energy and energy efficiency
