Tasks:

Technical administrative management in the “Nature and Landscape Protection” department with the following tasks:

  • Technical management of currently 6 employees.
  • Coordination of Staff Deployment and Work Processes in the Processing of Regulatory Procedures and Approval Procedures in the Lower Nature Conservation Authority, Budgetary and Organizational Matters, as Well as Internal Administration and Service Tasks.
  • Handling difficult individual cases within the framework of landscape approval procedures for outdoor projects and in protected areas as well as regulatory procedures. This also includes representing the department in court disputes.
  • Regulation of fundamental legal matters in approval procedures.
  • Preparation of opinions on draft legal standards and other legal provisions relating to the department.
  • General fee matters.
  • Performing internal technical supervision within the framework of contract nature protection.
  • Office training officer.
  • Preparation of awards, including for measures and projects as part of the implementation of landscape plans, for the control of natural monuments and for the resulting tree restoration measures, in compliance with the relevant public procurement law.

Your profile:

The basic requirement for filling the position is

  • Qualification for Career Group 2, First Entry Level (formerly Senior Non-Technical Administrative Service) or
  • the 2nd employee examination according to TVöD (formerly ALII)

We are looking for an employee who has a high degree of independence, flexibility and communication skills. Experience in regulatory areas is an advantage.
He/she should have the appropriate qualification as a certified trainer with an ADA certificate or be willing to acquire it at short notice.
